The Fashion Institute of Technology, commonly known as adjustment, is a College, the art of the University of the State of New York (SUNY), business, design and fashiontechnologynrv related to the fashion industry, with an urban campus located in the West 27 Street between avenues seventh and eighth in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York. It was founded in 1944, believed in 1957 and is ranked among the top five in the world fashion schools. He has a record of more than 10,000 students.
Degrees Offered
Seventeen courses are offered through the school of art and design and ten by Jay and Patty Baker of the school of business and technology for the BFA, B.F.A or B.S. degrees. The school offers seven programs leading to a master's degree, master's degree in fine arts or master of professional studies.
ADJUSTMENT is an institutional member of the certification of the Association of colleges and schools States, the National Association of schools of art and design and the Foundation for interior design education research.
The creation of nine campus includes class, rooms radio and studios, laboratories, workshops of drawing and several exhibition halls.

The Gladys Marcus library houses books, periodicals and materials of the Division. ADJUSTMENT also has many computer labs for student use. Department educational audiovisual offer support services and support for TV and an internal study of television. Also, showcases the work of the students in the campus. Fashion shows, showing the work of B.F.A. graduates occur each academic year.
The laboratory of the research project of enlightenment, a Centre for the development of Interior design and other disciplines, functions available commercially lighting devices controlled by a team of 400. Annette green/Fragrance Foundation laboratory is an environment for the study of the development of the fragrance.
